LG U990 Cell Phone - iPhone Killer?

It does look a little like Apple’s iPhone, but LG’s U990 cell phone has something more to offer. Let’s see… it comes with an integrated 5 megapixel camera module with Schneider-Kreuznach lens and video recording capability with 120fps movie quality, a 170MB onboard memory, a 240×400 touchscreen display, and music player. The handset also boasts a high-speed internet access via 3G HSDPA network. Moreover, its aforementioned camera sports a twisting collar around the lens, which doubles as a shuttle dial to get your way through high-speed video footage.
LG U990 cell phone is scheduled to hit the UK market in Fall. No words on pricing at the moment.

want one try one love one. lg u990 makes the iphone and htc touch look llike cheap immitations only for those that still think stylish is smart cars.
A shame.. I got my hands on one for a number of hoiurs the other day.. :/ I had (have) an I-Mobile 902 - a couple of years old with 256Mb internal memory, 5Mp Sony CCD sensor cam, capacity for 800 name entries.. but I thought I would ‘upgrade’ to something newer. Let’s see - LG: Build poorer, memory less, camera image quality MUCH poorer, camera lens cover no (WTF?) sound level lower, standard USB: no, conectivity - nah. What a disapointment! How can a two year old camera phone from a ‘lesser’ manufacturer (I-Mobile) beat a brand new phone?? no thanks LG.. nice try but aside from the touch screen this is a dud.
Just got the LG phone on contract but is worth £249.99. Paying £20 a month over a 12 month period. Loving this phone so far would recommend it to anyone.
have had a lg u990 for about 6 months, i love it, the camera is briliant, and the only complaint is i canty seem to find good themes for it. my friend has an i phone and he cant mms only e-mail. blah and meh i phone can keep its flat bigger screen, as its like a virus it converts everything to bloody apple. least i can play avi’s and mp3 with no conversion
