Asus is going to release U3, an elegant black piano-colored laptop with comfortable leather wrist rest. There isn’t much detail about this 13.3-inch notebook PC yet, but some of the revealed specs do sound yummy. Weighs at just 3.9 pounds, the mobile device features an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU built on top the new Intel Santa Rosa platform, Intel Turbo Memory technology that boosts the system overall perfomances, Intel GM965 chipset, up to 2GB of main memory, and a 128MB nVidia GeForce 8400M graphics engine. Moreover, it is equipped with a biometric fingerprint reader, Trust Platform Module (TPM) for enhanced security, and optional 3G connectivity and GPS capabilities. Wonderful, isn’t it?

Asus U3 laptop is rumored to hit the store in September with a price tag of around $2,000.
