Samsung Electronics recently launched its new multi-function laser printer, the CLX-2161K (and its variant, CLX-2161NK), in Korea market. Measures 41.3 x 35.3 x 33.3cm, this ‘compact’ size (well, compared to other laser printers) printer incorporated cylinder shape toner that allows you to print up to 2,000 pages of black-and-white document, as well as 1,000 pages of colors. Once empty, you can replace the toner simply by opening the front panel of the printer.

Samsung CLX-2161 laser printer also boasts NO-NOIS (Non Orbitining - Noiseless Optic Imaging System), the company’s proprietary technology that keeps the printing sound at a minimum level and provides USB Direct functionality. The USB Direct lets users print the document directly from a USB Flash Disk (UFD) without the need of a PC, as well as scan a document and store the result directly in a USB disk. Other feature is called “ID Card Copy” which allows you to copy both sides of an ID card onto one sheet of paper.
