AT&T recently announced the re-branded (and upgraded) version of the populra Cingular 8525 Pocket PC Phone, the AT&T 8525. Powered by AT&T BroadbandConnect network, the handset offers a sliding QWERTY keyboard mechanism, an integrated 802.11b/g WiFI, Bluetooth 2.0, infrared, a 2 megapixel camera module with video recording capability, and 3G support. It runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 OS and comes with Windows Media Player 10 Mobile apps for multimedia playback capability.
Furthermore, AT&T 8525 Pocket PC also features Direct Push technology and AT&T Push To Talk functionality. It supports both AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Cellular Video services. The former lets users to connect and shop various multimedia content directly from the handset, including full-track song, music video, ringtone, and much more; while the latter provides a huge list of video clips of their favorite television shows, sports, news and weather, entertainment and premium content.
AT&T 8525 Pocket PC Phone is already available starting from May 14. The price is $399.99.
