LG has just announced that Shine, its next-generation cell phone after Chocolate (eventhough it seems that the company doesn’t want to kill the Chocolate yet), will be soon release in Australia and Singapore. Europe and Asia will be its next stop thereafter. The phone itself, model number LG-KU970, boasts a built-in HSDPA support thus allowing users to obtain high-speed internet access (up to 3.6Mbps) over 3G network. Moreover, it also features an integrated 2 megapixel camera, a secondary VGA camera for video telephony purpose, a 2.2-inch LCD display that doubles as a mirror when not in use, Bluetooth connectivity, and built-in MP3 player.

The new LG Shine is a very nice looking phone but I’m not crazy about the slide up part that reveals the key pad.
I have had a Sansung flip phone for years and it would be hard to get me to try anything else.
When I first started carrying a cell phone I use to get the cheapest one which wasn’t cheat at all when I’d add up the cell phone bill.
The keys were exposed and when I’d put it in my carrying case or my pocket, it would dial people I had in my phone ultimately running up my cell bill.
I never had that problem again after I got my Sansung flip phone.
moral of the story, Don’t always think cheap, think practical.
PS. I would imagine the LG Shine is a practical cell phone as well. Maybe next time I need a cell phone, I’ll try the LG Shine.
