I’m not really interested with EyeToy when it first came out for Playstation. But looks like I’m alone ‘coz Sony has just announced that EyeToy for Playstation 3 will be available soon. Called Playstation 3 Eye, the device features a four-microphone array that, according to the company, reduce the background noise while providing better voice recognition. Moreover, gamers can also save captured video through the eye directly onto their PS3 hard drive.

Sony Playstation 3 Eye is scheduled to hit the store later this year. No info on pricing though.
