I once bough a so-called laser mouse and unfortunately, it’s just a fake one. Yeah, it’s a usual optical mouse, labeled as laser. I feel silly, thus decided not to buy a laser mouse anymore. But I guess this “Genius Traveler 355″ from Genius is an exception. Claimed as the first Opto Mouse in the world, it boasts a resolution of 1600 dpi and a unique touch sensor which replaces the scroll wheel. Sounds really cool, isn’t it? No words on pricing at the moment though.

Just bought that one (traveler 355 - ~30€ - France) really nice compact feather light laser mouse, and the optical wheel is great at use. Worth to mention the configurable middle button so you can run custom program, zoom in/out everywhere, play/pause/… music and even send keystrokes.
