Malibal Releases 20-Inch Veda Laptop

Malibal LLC yesterday announced the launch of its new Veda series laptop. This notebook PC boasts a large 20.1-inch (1680×1050) widescreen display supported by either a single or dual graphics engine in SLI mode. Customers can choose between a 512MB nVidia Quadro FX Go 2500M or a 512MB GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics cards. On the inside, it can equipped with up to 4GB of DDR2 main memory along with up to 400GB of storage (200GBx2) placed in two hard drive bays. As for the power engine, the laptop uses AMD’s dual-core processor, the Turion 64 X2 Mobile.
Other features include a dual-ayer DVD burner, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, five USB 2.0 ports, PC card slot, a 7-in-1 media card reader, and built-in TV tuner with remote control and all the necessary interfaces for TV-out purpose, such as DVI-out and S-Video out. Regarding connectivity, Malibal Veda laptop supports 802.11g Wireless, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, and 56K modem.
The price of Veda notebook will start from $2,799 for the base configuration. Note that the machine is Vista-ready as well.
