HP Pavilion tx1000z Laptop Now Available

Recently displayed during CES 2007 exhibition, HP’s Pavilion tx1000 series laptop is now ready for purchase, directly at the company’s website. The first model in this series is Pavilion tx1000z notebook. Being retailed for $1,299, this machine sports a 12.1-inch (1280×800) widescreen display, an AMD Turion 64 X2 (1.6GHz) processor (upgradeable up to 2GHz), up to 2GB of main memory, up to 200GB of 4,200rpm SATA hard drive or up to 160GB of 5,400rpm hard drive, an nVidia GeForce Go 6150 graphics engine, and a DVD burner. Other variant with touchscreen display is also available for $1,425.
As for connectivity options, Pavilion tx1000z laptop comes with Wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an integrated 56K modem, and an optional Bluetooth. Other features include three USB ports, VGA-out, TV-out, ExpressCard slot, and an optional fingerprint reader and webcam. Weighs 4.2lbs, this machine is pre-loaded with Windows Vista (either Home Premium, Busines, or Ultimate Edition) OS.
