Dell will soon unveil its forthcoming laptops, the Latitude D630 and D830 models, which will take advantage of Intel’s latest notebook platform, Santa Rosa (a.k.a Centrino Pro), in May. According to NotebookReview, one Swiss University website indicates the Latitude D630 laptop will be available to students there at the end of April. On the other hand, the Princeton University page indicates students coming in for the Fall of 2007 will have an option to buy the D630.

“Dell has leaked the names of the Latitude D630 and Latitude D830 notebooks on their driver download pages. Though information is scarce, a couple of university websites are indicating a late April release for these business laptops that will have the updated Intel Santa Rosa platform,” the report says.
