This 12.1-inch convertible laptop sports a 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 1GB of DDR2 main memory, a 100GB of 5,400rpm SATA hard drive, and an Ultra Slim SelectBay double-layer DVD burner. Moreover, pre-loaded with Windows Vista Business OS (32-bit edition), the machine is equipped with Intel GMA 950 graphics engine with up to 256MB of shared memory, an Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection, Gigabit Ethernet, built-in 56K modem, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Priced at $1,699, Toshiba’s Porteg M400-S5032 Tablet PC also comes with three USB ports, a 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, IEEE-1394, a PC Card slot, VGA-out, a 6-cell Li-Ion battery, and a finger print reader. It weighs at least 4.5 pounds.
