As reported earlier, Samsung extends its popular Ultra Edition series cell phones with the release of Ultra Edition II series during 3GSM World Congress 2007. The first four models on Ultra Edition II portfolio are the Ultra Edition 10.9 (U600), Ultra Edition 12.1 (U700), Ultra Edition 9.6 (U300), and the Ultra Edition 5.9 (U100). Each of them sports an advanced features, including 3 megapixel camera module, high-speed web connectivity, and enhanced multimedia capabilities.

Now let’s talk about the slim (12.1mm thick) and stylish Ultra Edition 12.1 (U700) slider handset. Along with 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, this cell phone offers a high-speed HSDPA connectivity. By using HSDPA, users can enjoy up to 3.6MBps data transfer speed on the go. It also comes with video telephony functions (supposedly there’s a secondary VGA camera) and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
