After U20, Tomato presents another DAP, the U7. This compact PMP comes with a 1.8-inch 65k colors CSTN display, either a 512MB, 1GB, or 2GB onboard flash memory, internal FM radio tuner, and rechargeable Li-Polymer battery which provides up to 10 hours of continous usage per charge. It supports various media formats, including MP1/2/3, WAV, WMA, ASF, and OGG. Users can also use the device to read their E-Book collection, display photo (supposedly JPG and BMP), and play some pre-loaded games. Furthermore, the provided line-in recording and built-in microphone allows users to record their own voice or from other audio sources.

Measures 38 x 64 x 14mm and weighs 25 grams, Tomato U7 PMP uses USB 2.0 connectivity to transfer the files from the computer or other USB-enabled devices. It is compatible with both Mac and Windows OS.
