Ricoh has just upgraded its Caplio SE500 digital camera with support for geo imaging. Means, the camera now can automatically embed GPS coordinates within captured photos and videos, as well as organize seamless transfer of pictures and data to mapping software. Users can also tag their media with some related information, for further usage in any GIS system as an additional attributes. As for the specs, the camera sports an 8 megapixel CCD sensor, Bluetooth, and even WiFI for wireless photo transfer.

Ricoh Caplio 500SE Digital Camera is expected to hit the store for a price between $1,000 and $1,200.
