Panasonic W5, Y5, and T5 Laptops

Since the public release of Windows Vista OS is getting closer, some computer manufacturers have started announcing their brand-new Vista-ready PCs and laptops to public as well. Panasonic for example, recently introduced three new notebook series: T5, W5, and Y5. All of them will be pre-loaded with Vista operating system and start shipping at the same time as the new OS.
Let’s start with the W5 laptop. This 12.1-inch machine features a XGA display, an Intel Core Duo U2400 (1.06GHz) processor, and up to 10.5 hours of usage. It weighs at just 1.19kg and can stand accidental drop from up to 30cm heighs, as well as up to 100kg weight on the top.
The Y5 notebook will have the same drop and weight resistance as the W5 series, however, it has a bigger weighs (1.49kg) and less battery life (up to 8.5 hours). As for the specs, it is equipped with an Intel Core Duo L2500 (1.83GHz) processor and a 14.4-inch SXGA+ LCD display.
Finally, the 12.1-inch T5 series laptop sports an Intel Core Duo U2400 (1.06GHz) processor, a XGA display, and up to 14 hours of usage. Weighs 1.26kg, it can also stand from 30cm drop and 100kg weight.
