Dell Latitude ATG D620 Rugged Laptop

Dell recently unveiled its first semi-rugged laptop, dedicated for customers who mostly work in tough (and rough) environments, the Latitude ATG-D620 (All-Terrain Grade). Being a rugged machine, you can expect the notebook to have military standards, especially for vibration, humidity, and altitude. It has been designed to stand againts accidental drops, bumps, moisture, and such; along with a shock-mounted hard drive, spill-resistant keyboard, port covers, and high-durability paint on the part department.
Regarding display, Latitude ATG D620 laptop comes with a 14.1-inch widescreen LCD incorporating ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) glass overlay and anti-reflective coating. The company claimed that this screen is 1.5 times brighter than other similar machines, thus giving a better viewing in sunlight.
Dell Latitude ATG D620 is currently available in U.S for $2,499. Other countries will follow in the next couple weeks.
