[CES ] MSI GX700 - First Intel 965PM-Based Laptop

MSI GX700 is the first laptop to incorporate Intel’s upcoming Mobile 965PM Express chipset, codenamed Crestline. The 965PM chipset is part of Intel’s fortcoming Santa Rosa laptop platform, planned to be released in the second quarter of this year. It is designed for use with Intel Core 2 Duo (a.k.a Merom) processor and features an up to 800Mhz frontside bus. Several nice technologies, including WiFI, NAND Flash hard drive cache, Graphics Media Accelerator X3000, and 3G WAN; are said to be incorporated on the new platform as well.

Back to MSI GX700 laptop. This 17-inch widescreen (1440×900) notebook features a nVidia graphics engine (still unknown), WiFI connectivity, Bluetooth, an optional Dual LAN modem, a 4-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard slot, and obviously, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
