MSI (Micro-Star International) has developed a product to help doctors cure their patients. Called HATO, which stands for Heartbeat Audition Transceiver On-The-Go, it is a medical laptop with built-in ECG (ElectroCardiogram Analysis), thus allowing doctor (and patients) to get immediate monitoring and diagnosis on the patient’s electrocardiogram record. With the built-in 3G connectivity, the patients don’t even have to meet the doctor or go to the hospital. The company also mentioned that the notebook also lets the patient to self-administer most tests themself.

Displayed during Consumer Electronics Show 2007, MSI HATO laptop is mainly made to fight heart disease. However, no words on pricing and availability at the moment.
