[CES] HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC

On Hewlett-Packard (HP)’s booth at CES 2007, we can find the recently released Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC. Weighs 4.23 pounds, this convertible laptop is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 (dual-core) processor, a 2GB of main memory, and a 160GB of 5,400rpm SATA hard drive. It is equipped with a 12.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) touchscreen display with 180° rotation, supported by an integrated nVidia GeForce Go 6150 graphics engine with up to 128MB of shared VRAM. Wide-range connectivity options are supported, including WiFI, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and integrated 56K modem.
Furthermore, HP Pavilion tx1000 Tablet PC also comes with a DVD burner, three USB ports, VGA-out and TV-out (S-Video), an ExpressCard slot, integrated HP Webcam module, built-in microphone, and fingerprint reader. It’ll be shipped with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed.
