[CES] Sony VAIO UX Premium Micro PC

Sony unveils the SSD (Solid State Disc) version of its VAIO UX Micro PC, the VAIO UX Premium. This UMPC comes with a 32GB flash memory-based drive which delivers up to 50 faster data access speed and lower power consumption than standard hard drive. Other features will be much the same as the original though, including an Intel Core Solo processor, WLAN and WAN connectivity, a 4.5 widescreen LCD display and full QWERTY keyboard.
Displayed during CES 2007 trade show, Sony VAIO UX Premium Micro PC is planned to hit the market in February. This black-colored Vista-ready UMPC will be retailed for about $2,500.
