Let’s take a break from the raining CES news and take a look at the new product from Sprint and OQO. It’s the Model 02 UMPC developed by OQO and incorporated mobile broadband technology provided by Sprint Power Vision Network, thus allowing fast and secure web browsing, email, and business applications everywhere inside Sprint’s coverage area. Regarding specs, this ultra mobile computer features a 1.5GHz processor, a 1GB of main memory, WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity, and a Windows XP operating system. It is also equipped with an ergonomic backlit keyboard and a rugged magnesium chassis with a shock-mounted hard drive that prevent the HDD from damage upon accidental drop or heavy shaking.
