PowerLab Offers PXT-40A LCD TV

PowerLab is going to display its new PXT-40A LCD TV at the upcoming Consumers Electronics Show (CES) 2007 event at Las Vegas. This 40-inch LCD TV is equipped with both analogue and digital tuner, as well as “Twin Pic” feature which allows you to watch two different images at the same time. There’s a fortified black acrylic covering its panel to protect it from external shock, along with a cool touch-sensor type LED blue light. Regarding specs, the TV has a native resolution of 1366×768, a brightness of 500cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 5000:1, a viewing angle of 178 degrees, and a response time of 6ms.
According to Gi-soon Park, vice president of PowerLab, one of the core competences of his company lies in ability to respond specific needs of different markets with its own R&D and manufacturing capability. The company is currently working on the development of IPTV as well as exploration of niche market in Russia.
