According to the rumours, Apple will soon officially announce its iPhone handset on Monday, December 18th. This cell phone will support GSM/EDGE (2.5G) network (sorry, no 3G) because the company which is famous for its iPod and iBook/MacBook wants to develop a small device with more realiable communication. And if you want compare the phone with the digital audio player iPod, you can safely think that iPhone is an iPod with phone capabilities. Of course, the price will be higher than iPod.

iPhone cell phone will be released in two version, one with 4GB of Nand Flash, other with 8GB. Respectively, according to Digg’s Kevin Rose, the price is set at $249 and $449.
