HP Compaq nc6400 Laptop Now Download Faster

As announced by Hewlett-Packard (HP), Cingular Wireless’ UMTS/HSDPA-based technology is now integrated onto HP’s popular Compaq nc6400 series laptop. Customers can enjoy the high-speed internet access (up to 3.6mbps) in the U.S through Cingular Wireless BroadbandConnect or other high-speed EDGE services, as well as on more than 115 countries worlwide in which there are UMTS or GPRS/EDGE networks available. The Compaq nc6400 notebook itself will be the first laptop with built-in tri-band UMTS modem in U.S. It will be released on the market starting from late December with a price tag of $1,599 (base configuration). Customers also have to pay a monthly fee of $59.99 for subscribing onto Cingular BroadbandConnect service.
Regarding specs, the Vista-ready HP Compaq nc6400 laptop features a 14.-inch widescreen display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics engine.
