Along with the first Windows Mobile’s Chocolate phone, LG also unveils the first 3G clamshell’s Chocolate handset. The U830 boasts its HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) support, offering high-speed web browsing and download rate. Its connectivity features are enhanced with Bluetooth support, along with built-in POP3 email client with support for several popular webmail service, such as Yahoo’s Mail, Google’s Gmail and Microsoft’s Hotmail.
Entertainment-hungry users will be satisfied with the built-in media player. It supports various media formats, including MP3, AAC, and MPEG-4. A generous 185MB onboard memory is provided as well, giving a lot of free space for storing your audio / video collection. Furthermore, the A2DP Stereo Bluetooth capability offers an enhanced wireless music experience.
Measures 98 x 49 x 14.8mm and weighs 93g, LG U830 cell phone also features a 2 megapixel camera module, a 2.2-inch colors display, an external 1.3-inch TFT display, and a 800mAH battery that delivers juice for up to 330 hours of standby time and up to 3.2 hours of talktime (3G mode).
