Fujitsu is going to unveil its innovative CD-sized laptop during the International Industry Design Fair in France this week. According to Sean Nemoto, Fujitsu spokesman, the company will decide whether the prototype hits the production line or not after they watch the reaction of the audience there. Obviously, the laptop will be much lighter than a normal notebook, but Fujitsu hasn’t made any decisions about the hardware specifications.

Technically, the prototype looks like a CD case when it’s folded up. Users can then flip open the 8-inch display screen, follow by the keyboard, lifting it from left to right to open it up. The keyboard, said Nemoto, will be about 16-inches wide.
