It has a 2.4-inch 256K colors TFT LCD display with both portrait or landscape orientation, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, and also a 5-way navigation pad for convenient web browsing. Furthermore, its 1100 mAh battery provides up to 4 hours of talk time. i-Mate PDAL Pocket PC will be available in black and silver colors, but no words on pricing yet.
Along with PDAL, i-Mate also released the JAQ3 Pocket PC. Robin Bowler, Global Marketing Director, commented, “Both the i-mate JAQ3 and PDAL will appeal to anyone who uses a Microsoft based PC at home or work, and who want to work and play on the move. Their familiar Windows Mobile-based user interface is intuitively simple and integrates seamlessly with the Windows PC operating system.” He continued, “Add to that the range of functionality options, the highly competitive pricing, and i-mate’s comprehensive range of value added services and support, and you’ve got a very compelling proposition for professionals and consumers alike.”
