Europe Gets Magellan Roadmate 2250T GPS Navigation

Magellan has just announced the release of the new RoadMate 2250T GPS to the Europe market. Preloaded with maps of the entire Europe, the navigation system will be available in France, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark as soon as December 1st of this year, follow by the rest of the continent in early 2007. Measures 12.5 x 8.5 x 2.6cm, the navigation system is equipped with a 3.5-inch colors display with touch screen user interface and 3D maps view, integrated antenna, and of course, a voice guidance with visual turn-by-turn. Furthermore, Magellan claimed that the RoadMate 2250T GPS is the world’s first rugged, IPX-4-waterproof car navigation system.
Along with the new 2250T model, Magellan also announced the availability of the previous model, 2200T, in Europe. The big brother wiil be retailed for less than €300 ($385), while the 2250T GPS is set to €350 ($450) at most.
