Asus Unveils G1 and G2 Gaming Laptops

In the world of gaming PC, a name like AsusTek (widely known as Asus) won’t probably slip on your mind. But not anymore. This giant computer company has decided to jump the wagon and presented its first gaming machines, the G1 and G2 laptops. Both notebooks boast support for up to 2GB of RAM, a 160GB of SATA hard drive, a DVD burner, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam, WiFI and Gigabit Ethernet LAN connectivity, as well as optional Bluetooth support. They also come with OLED instant display, integrated side/front speakers, hotkey highlights, and sidelights.
On the detail, Asus G1 laptop features a 15.4-inch widescreen display and a 512MB nVidia GeForce Go 7700 graphics card. Meanwhile, the 17-inch G2 is packed with the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors and an ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 graphics engine with 512MB of VRAM.
