Panasonic has just launched its first car navigation system for the U.S market, the Strada CN-NVD905U. This GPS device comes with a 7-inch LCD with touch screen Graphical User Interface (GUI), a 30GB of hard drive preloaded with NAVTEQ’s map data of United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, as well as detailed maps of 39 U.S. states; and even a DVD slot drive so you can playback your DVD/DVD-R/RW movies or audio CDs in MP3 or WMA format.

Regarding navigation, Strada CN-NVD905U offers a customized destination menu, multi-language voice guidance, and Sirius Traffic’s real time traffic information display upon connecting the GPS with optional Sirius tuner. Like many other navigation system devices on the market, this one also supports multimedia playback, including Sirius and XM Satellite Radio broadcasts. It even has iPod Video connectivity for rear seat and front passenger video entertainment.

Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905U Car Navigation System is planned to hit the market in Spring 2007. No words on pricing though.
