Samsung Mobile Wimax MITs SPH-M8100 Cell Phone

Samsung Electronics, during its Mobile Wimax Summit 2006 event, unveiled SPH-M8100, a Wimax-enabled cell phone. Thanks to the incorporated IMS (IP Multimedia Service) technology, users can access data at a blazing 20mbps speed rate, even while they are aboard of a car moving at 60km/h. Of course, various IP-based services are supported as well, including VoIP, voice call, push-to-all service, VOD, and RSS. Along with additional T-DMB and TV out features, M8100 phone can also be used as a Wibro modem, simply by connecting the handset to the PC or laptop.
