Coming Soon: Asus R2H Ultra Mobile PC

Asustek (widely known as Asus) has just received FCC approval for its first Ultra Mobile PC device, the R2H, so we can expect to see this mobile PC very soon in the US market. This UMPC has been displayed at the Computex 2006 exhibition recently and promised to be a wonderful device. It features a 7-inch WXGA LCD display (larger than Sony’ UMPC), integrated GPS module, built-in 1.3 megapixel camera module, 60GB of HDD, Wireless LAN connectivity, and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR support. Furthermore, R2H UMPC also offers with a biometric fingerprint readers and at least two hours of battery life.
Asus R2H Ultra Mobile PC is going to be retail with a price tag of under $1,000 which is near the price of Samsung’s Q1 UMPC.
