Remember the cool Dungeons and Dragons laptop? The company behind that machine, Rock, has just rocked the gaming laptop market with two new notebooks dedicated for low-to-mid range gamers, the Pegasus 660 (image on the left) and Quaddra TX2. Respectively, the prices are $1,924 (or £1,060) and $2,133 (£1,175). Both will start to hit the market in the next few weeks.
The Rock Pegasus 660 laptop is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor, nVidiaGeForce Go 7600 graphics engine with 256MB of VRAM, 120GB of HDD, and 2GB of RAM. This 6.8-pounds machine also offers a silent mode so gamers won’t be annoyed with the sound of rotating fans while they’re busy playing the games on its 15.4-inch (1280×768) LCD display. Meanwhile, the 7.7-pounds Quaddra TX2 laptop features a 17-inch 1680×1050 LCD display with X-Glass anti-reflective screen, AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, Bluetooth and WiFI connectivity, 1.3 megapixel camera module, and nVidia GeForce Go 7600 graphics card.
