Toshiba isn’t the only whose busy updating its products. AlienWare also done its homework and presented three new laptops recently - Sentia M3450, Area-51 M550, and Area-51 M570. Let’s start with the Sentia M3450 laptop first.
As the successor of M3400, the notebook comes with a 14.1-inch WXGA (1280×768) display with integrated webcam module for video conferencing. This Vista-capable laptop is powered by an Intel Core Duo processor, Intel 945GM chipset, 512MB of DDR2 RAM (expandable up to 2GB), up to 120GB of SATA HDD, and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950 with video out and TV-out connector. Dual-layer DVD±RW drive and 4-in-1 media card reader (SD/MS/MSPRO/MMC) are provided for additional storage options.
Measures 0.75 x 13.06 x 9.5-inch and weighs 4.5 lbs, Sentia M3450 laptop offers several connectivity options, including WiFI, Ethernet LAN, standard modem, and Bluetooth (optional). Other features include 7.1 HD audio, built-in speaker, microphone and headphone jack, three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394 interface, and ExpressCard slot. This laptop is already available now and the basic configuration can be purchased for $1,099.
