Sotec WinBook DN6000 and DN7000 Laptops - Summer Edition

Sotec releases the Summer Edition of some of its PCs and laptops. Two of them are these WinBook DN6000 and DN7000 models. Since both 15.4-inch laptops have been previously covered on this site, I’ll give a quick recap of their specs only.
The WinBook DN6000 features an AMD’s Turion 64 X2 TL-50 (1.6GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM (formerly 512MB), DVD/DL burner, ATI Radeon XPress 1100 graphics engine, 40GB of SATA HDD, ExpressCard, Ethernet LAN, integrated 56K modem, USB ports, and built-in microphone. Measures 359 x 34 x 255 mm and weighs 2.7 kg, this Windows Vista-ready laptop is available for 99,800 Yen or around 700 EUR.
Meanwhile, the WinBook DN7000 laptop is equipped with Intel Core Duo T2300E (1.66Ghz) processor, 1GB of RAM (512MB on the original version), 40GB of SATA HDD, DVD/DL burner, Intel 945GM chipset, HD-audio system, Etherneet LAN, WIFI connectivity, integrated 56K modem, ExpressCard, built-in microphone, and USB 2.0 ports. Measures 359 x 34 x 255 mm and weighs 2.7kg, this machine, also Vista-ready, is retailed for only 750 EUR (or 109,800 Yen). And that’s pretty cheap for a dual core baby.
