To celebrate the summer season (and to boost its sales), Sotec upgraded six of its laptop and PC series - the WinBook DN2000 (DN2000C and DN2000S1), WinBook DN6000, WinBook DN7000, DS3000-A, and DT5000 models. All of them come with a double memory than the original version. Now let’s check out their specs one by one.

The WinBook DN2000 laptop series is available in two variants, both included in the summer party. The first one, DN2000C, is powered by an Intel Celeron M 380 (1.6GHz) processor, SiS M661MX and SiS 964L chipset, 256MB of RAM, 40GB of HDD, and DVD/CD-RW combo drive. This 15-inch laptop is available for 69,800 Yen. The second model, DN2000S1 laptop, carries an Intel Celeron M 380 (1.6GHz) processor, SiS M661MX and SiS 964L chipset, 512MB of RAM, 40GB of HDD, and DVD burner. This machine costs you 79,800 Yen if you decide to have one.

Since both laptops are on the same series, they share almost similar features. For example, a screen resolution of 1024×768, SiS M661MX graphics chipset with up to 128MB of shared VRAM, integrated 56K modem, Ethernet, internal stereo speakers, PC Card Type I/II slot, and memory card reader. Furthermore, on the surface, they are also equipped with two USB 2.0 ports, microphone and headphone jack, mini D-Sub interface, and IEE1394 terminal. Measure 332 x 40 x 287 mm and weighs 3.0kg, these two laptops can be used for up to 2 hours before you have to charge its Lithium-Ion battery.
