IO-Data has just updated its AVel LinkPlayer series and added two new members to the group, the AV-LS300DW and AV-LS300D model. This DVD player can also playback DivX and WM9 movie formats and more importantly, supports both HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) and HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), which is a major improvement from the previous version. Furthermore, not just it allows movie to be up-scaled to 1080i and 720p resolution, it can also stream any video or audio files on the computer when the Media File Server (included in the package) is installed on the PC. Additionally, the AV-LS300DW AVel LinkPlayer will come with an extra WiFI connectivity support.
