Asus W1J Laptop

Asus W1J laptop is developed for multimedia and entertainment purpose. If not, the company won’t boast its built-in TV tuner that lets users watch TV broadcast anywhere anytime, integrated sub-woofer for delivering cinematic audio experience, Instant Fun feature that makes it possible to access multimedia functions without entering the OS, and pre-installed exclusive Asus Mobile Theater or Microsoft MCE software for easy multimedia application access. Mix those cool features with the powerful ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics card with 256MB of GDDR3 VRAM and there, a superb all-in-1 15.4-inch mobile entertainment device.

Now onto the technical specs. Asus W1J laptop is powered by Intel Core Duo processor, Mobile Intel 945PM Express chipset, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and up to 120GB of HDD. It is also equipped with DVD Dual DL Lightscribe drive, Bluetooth V2.0+EDR connectivity, HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) input, and ExpressCard slot. Two variants are currently available - the W1Jb model with Analog TV tuner and the W1Jc laptop with Hybrid (Analog and DVB-T) TV tuner. Of course the second optio is much better since you can watch satellite TV broadcast as well, but I guess we still have to wait for the price to come up before putting it on the shopping list.
