Another news from the Computex 2006 exhibition at Taipei, but still from BenQ though. Here’s its new Joybook series laptop, T31/T31W, that sports an integrated 1.3 megapixel QEye Video Camera and QShot video capture software that allows users to easily capture screenshot or video by simply pressing the dedicated hotkeys. Users can then review the result on its 13.3-inch widescreen LCD display that incorporated BenQ proprietary UltraVivid technology. By taking advantages of DBEF (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film) which raises the brightness of the screen to 200 nits, the UltraVivid technology delivers 10% brighter screen than any other BenQ notebooks. To further enhance the brightness and ensure crystal-clear image quality, a low-reflectivity coating that aggregates emitted light is embedded on the screen.
For the engine, the Joybook T31/T31W laptop is powered by a dual core AMD Turion 64 X2 processor and ATI Radeon XPress 1150. For your entertainment needs, it offers a SRS cinema-class 360-degree surround-sound audio with TruBass bass booster offers users superior acoustic performance. To richer your sound experience, an exclusive audio processing software capable of surpressing noise and echo is also included.
Other features found on the laptop include a DVD/DL burner, four USB 2.0 ports, infrared, and 5-in-1 memory card reader (MS/MS-Pro/SD/MMC/xD). No words about the price and availability yet.
