The $1,949 priced Lifebook S7020D from Fujitsu is a single-core Pentium M 760 (2GHz) laptop with just 512MB of DDR RAM and 80GB of HDD. Not the top of the notch kind of specs, but it said to deliver a very good MobileMark 2005 score (245). Its 14.1-inch LCD display offers a 4:3 aspect ratio and 1400×1050 SXGA resolution. Weighs at just 4.3 pounds, the laptop gives 3 hours and 42 minutes of usage time, without WiFI. The WiFI support itself is delivered by the versatile Atheros Super AG 802.11a/b/g chipset.

Other features found on this Fujitsu’s Lifebook S7020D laptop include a DVD/DL burner drive, Bluetooth connectivity, integrated speaker, touchpad, and biometrics fingerprint reader. Users may also enhanced the security by setting the machine to boot the OS only after a four-digit code is entered on the keyboard.

Fujitsu is currently working on an updated version of the S7020D laptop with dual core processor, more security, a new port replicator, and improved durability features, including a spill-resistant keyboard. Nice.
