The white-colored M600i is the upcoming cell phone from Sony Ericsson that is going to hit the market very soon this month. Measures 107 x 57 x 15 mm and weighs 112 grams, this slim and stylish phone sports a UTMS support for high-speed data access, Symbian OS 9.1 and UIQ 3.0, 262K colors LCD touch screen with stylus drawing and handwriting recognition, and integrated digital audio player that supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC, and m4a audio files. There’s a jod dial for scrolling the menu, music playlist, application list, and content page. For internet browsing with pre-installed Opera 8 mobile browser application, there’s also an internet quick access button.
No information about the onboad memory, but the M600i cell phone provides a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot and even include a 64MB card on the bundle. Stored audio files can be played wirelessly on any bluetooth-enabled headset via its Bluetooth 2.0 connection. Other connecitivty options are IrDA and USB 2.0 which allows you to easily drag-and-drop files from PC onto the phone. Not sure about this, but PC synchornization supposedly supported as well.
Other features include an integrated RSS reader for reading Funponsel’s feed anywhere (okay, not just Funponsel) through UTMS connection, a cool QWERTY keyboard, push email technology, and built-in document editing application. No words about the price of this cell phone yet.
