Dell XPS-M2010 is a unique combination between a laptop and desktop PC. It is portable (even comes with a handle), but when the screen is flipped open, it looks like a very slim dekstop. Powered by Intel Core Duo processor (either T2400, T2500, or T2600), Vista-capable XPS-M2010 features up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 20.1-inch widescreen WSXGA+ display with TrueLife technology, ATI Mobility Radeon X1800 graphics card with 256MB of VRAM, up to 240GB of HDD, DVD+/-RW drive, and integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam as well as built-in microphone for doing video chat / conference activities with your friends online. This laptop and desktop PC hybrid, runs under Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 OS, is also equipped with four USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394 integrated port, ExpressCard slot, Ethernet, integrated 56K modem, DVI, S-Video, Component, S/PDIF, and 13-in-2 memory card reader.
Furthermore, for direct access to its multimedia and entertainment functions, Dell’s XPS-M2010 has included a MediaDirect features where consumers can play movies, videos, and music, as well as display pictures, quickly. With provided dedicated control buttons, media files stored on the hard drive, optical drive, USB disk, or the memory card can be accessed quickly without having to enter the OS.
