Here’s the new kids on the Creative’s DiVi CAM’s block, the 5 megapixel 525D. This camcorder sports various recording functions (movie, real-time TV, voice), integrated MP3 player, 2.5″ LTPS TFT LCD screen, webcam, 8x digital zoom, 32MB of onboard memory with SD card slot for more capacities, 10 megapixel resolution with the in-cam interpolation, various shooting modes (Normal, Portrait, Macro), and multitasking capability. It is equipped with Creative proprietary Motion Stabilizer technology, that guarantees excellent footage and removes blurry shots. Not only at noon, users will be able to obtain a great detailed footage result at night, thanks to the Night Mode feature.

Now let’s discuss the recording feature on the DiVi CAM 525D camcorder. First, movie recording. This camera can create video recording in MPEG-4 format in 640×480 (VGA) resolution at 30fps. It comes with an integrated microphone too, so your recorded movie won’t be like those Charlie Chaplin’s movies. And wait, users will be able to connect the 525D camcorder on their external video sources - such as TV, DVD player, VCR, etc - and then record it directly onto the camcorder. So if you want to save all the great football moments on the upcoming World Cup 2006 event, I’m sure you know what to do. But fyi, the Creative DiVi CAM 525D is currently available in Singapore only for a price of US$229. No exact date on worldwide availability though.
