HP has unveiled its new member of the Photosmart digital camera, the 8.2 megapixel R927 model. Comes with 3x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom, the digital camera offers a large-and-bright 3-inch LCD display and 32MB of onboard memory with external memory card slot (not sure what kind of card supported).
Eventhough the R927 digital camera is easy-to-use enough for entry-level photographer, any professionals can also experiment with many advanced functions provided. For example, let’s check the built-in editing capabilities inside the exclusive HP Real Life technologies bundled on the camera. It includes some useful features such as AE bracketing, HP Adaptive Demosiac, HP Adaptive Lighting, HP Auto Red-eye Removal, HP Design Gallery, HP Image Advice, HP In-camera Panorama Preview and Stitching, HP Noise Filter, HP Preferred Photo Reproduction, HP Vignetting.
Other toys for the serious photographers are the manual control options. Things like AE bracketing, AE metering, auto focus area, color bracketing, contrast, EV compensation, image quality, ISO speed, saturation, sharpness, video quality, and white balance can be set manually to obtain the best photo shot. And like other digital cameras outthere, Scene Modes feature also available. Some of the options are Aperture priority, Beach, Document, Landscape, Manual mode, My mode, Night Scenery, and Night Portrait.
Priced at $399.99, this ultracompact R927 digital camera with stainless-steel design is compatible with any (modern) version of Windows and Mac OS X operating system. If you buy it, you’ll also receive HP PhotoSmart Premiere Software for Windows and MacIntosh on the package.
