Finally, an official announcement from Dell regarding its new XPS-M1210 superb laptop. Made of highly durable magnesium alloy frame, this 12.1-inch widescreen laptop feautres a 1280×800 WXGA resolution, either a basic Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 chipset or advanced nVidia GeForce Go 7400 graphics card with 256MB of VRAM, Intel Core Duo (T2300E/T2400/T2500/T2600) processor, 1GB of RAM (expandable up to 4GB), up to 100GB 7200RPM or 120GB 5400RPM SATA hard drive, and 5-in-1 media card reader. For those who love to chat or need a video conference machine for online business meeting, the laptop offers an integrated 1.3 megapixel camera module, pre-installed Skype, and even an earbuds on the bundle. And when you get tired from working all day long, Dell’s MediaDirect technology lets you access its multimedia function in a single button.
Priced at $1,300 for the basic configuration, Dell’s XPS-M1210 laptop’s list of features doesn’t stop here. It is also equipped with TV tuner, a DVD/CDRW combo drive, IEEE 1394, four USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet LAN, integrated 56K modem, S-Video, component, and S/PDIF. Weighs 4.37lbs, this Vista-capable laptop will have Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition OS pre-installed.
