Fresh news from Dell. This company has just announced the release of its new UltraSharp LCD Monitor series, the 2407WFP model. As the successor of the 2405FPW model, this 24-inch widescreen LCD comes with almost similar functions compared to its big brother. With a low price of $949, 2407WFP monitor offers a 1920×1200 resolution, 6ms gray-to-gray response time, a contast ratio of 1000:1, HDCP (High-Definition Content Protection), two USB 2.0 ports, DVI-D and VGA inputs. It is also equipped with audio jack for connecting an optional Dell Sound Bar speaker, S-Video ports for connecting a DVD player, VCR, or other movie source, and even a 9-in-2 media card reader.
