Acer Ferrari 1000 Laptop

As already mentioned here, Acer has just unveiled two new Ferrari series laptops, the Ferrari 5000 and Ferrari 1000. I’ve spiled all the detail of the Ferrari 5000, so now it’s time for the Ferrari 1000 notebook. Like its sibling, this laptop is also powered by AMD’s Turion 64 X2 processor. It’d also carry an integrated Acer’s Orbicam 1.3 megapixel webcam, Wireless LAN support, and Bluetooth connectivity. Weighs at just 3.5 lbs, this 12.1-inch widescreen laptop relies on ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 chipset (with up to 512MB Hypermemory support) to handle the graphics on the display. No info about the optical drive though.
And like the Ferrari 5000 laptop, users would be able to choose between Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Professional Edition OS. Other useful applications would be pre-installed too, such as Adobe Reader, Norton AntiVirus, CyberLink PowerDVD (or CyberLink Power Producer), Acer GridVista and Acer Arcade Software Suite.
