Along with the W710 Walkman phone, Sony Ericsson also announced the EDGE-capable Z710 cell phone. This stylish clamshell phone features a 262k colors 176×220 internal TFT display, a 1.5-inch (128×128) 4-level white on blue external LCD, 2 megapixel camera module with video recording capability, integrated music player with support for MP3, AAC/AAC+, and eAAC+ audio files, FM radio tuner, Bluetooth and infrared connectivity, and 10MB of internal memory with additional 64MB of Memory Stick Micro (up to 1GB supported).
The company have also packed several handy applications on the Z710 cell phone. For example, the music and video DJ, Access NetFront full HTML browser, RSS feed, and even 3D games. It uses USB 2.0 for phone-to-PC connection and there’s a PC software for helping you manage and synchronize the phone.
“The Z710 is perfect for business and personal use,” says Jan Wäreby, Corporate Executive Vice President, Head of Sales and Marketing, Sony Ericsson. “It offers many features that today’s business people expect in a phone such as easy synchronisation with a PC to keep calendar and contacts up to date and its sophisticated, yet casual design fits today’s professional lifestyle.”
Sony Ericsson Z710 cell phone is planned to ship in Q3 2006. It will be available in Twilight Black and Metalic Sand color, with two variants, depend on the area - Z710i for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas and Z710c for Mainland China.
