Nintendo Wii Final Specs (And Movie)

Nintendo-fans, here’s the final specs of the upcoming Nintendo gaming console, the Wii. Formerly known as Nintendo Revolution, Wii features a four controller ports, a slot-loading disc drive, 512MB of flash memory and SD card slot for extra storage, two USB 2.0 ports, and WiFI connectivity. Planned to release in the last quarter of 2006, Nintendo Wii will be compatible with the GameCube and there’s a Virtual Console that lets gamers to download and play classic games titles from a wide-range of selection, including SNES, NES, N64, TurboGrafx 16, and Genesis games.
As for the engine, Nintendo use the PowerPC Broadway processor and ATI Hollywood GPU to power up the Wii gaming console. It will be equipped with an integrated speaker, rumble capabilities, expansion bay (Zapper, etc.), d-pad, and a thumb stick. The retailed price is around $149 - $299.

Personally, I’m not quite interested with the Revolution. But after having some experiences with Nintendo DS, and seeing the promo movies above, I’d definitely put the Wii on my shopping list.
