I’ve mentioned a little about the upcoming Motorola Q Smartphone last month, so here’s the detail. Planned to release sometime between May, 24th and July, 2nd, this ultra-thin cell phone features Bluetooth connectivity, 1.3 megapixel camera module with flash, GPS, Infrared, 320×240 (landscape) 65K colors QVGA TFT LCD screen, MMS capability, and EvDO support. Its QWERTY-style keyboard lets you type message with ease, while the provided thumb wheel and 5-way navigational key provide a nice control over the phone’s user interface. The Q smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system so you can expect some nice multimedia and productivity applications, such as Microsoft Activesync, Microsoft Media Player, Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Pocket Office.
Other features packed inside the Motorola’s Q Smartphone are integrated dual stereo speakers, OTA, PC synchronization and Wireless Sync, MiniSD card slot for external storage, and video capture. Measures 4.6 x 2.5 x 0.45 inches and weighs 4.1 oz, this cell phone offers up to 234 minutes of usage time and up to 212 hours of standby time. It will be retailed through Verizon Wireless for $349.99 (one year contract), $299.99 (two year contract), or $419.99 (no contract).
